My oil light has been sporatically coming on and off for a few weeks now, I checked oil and connectors and couldn't figure it out. Being pretty mechanical I opted to pull the pan, change the oil pump & screen, and the oil pressure switch. The motor started fine but within a few minutes the oil light came on again and now stays on. I am sure there is adequate oil pressure, and there was absolutly no sediment or bearing flakes in the pan when I dropped it.
I hooked up a diagnostice cable and all of the scan's showed no problems.
Any ideas would be helpful

Re: Oil Pressure on Audi TT
Fri, October 3, 2008 - 9:27 AMI have seen this before. If I remember correctly it has a problem with the dipstick not being sealed correctly.
